Method2: chntpw

  1. mount Windows’s System Drive (often C: drive ) (we call it WIN)
  2. cd WIN/Windows/System32/config
  3. chntpw -e SYSTEM
  4. Inside the chntpw environment, run as followings NOET: Instead of CurrentControlSet, you may see  ControlSet00*X*  like ControlSet001 **(check using ls):
